Where a Kid Can be a Kid

Yesterday, Nate ran up to Lee and stated very clearly:

"Chuck E. Cheese is a proud supporter of PBS kids, Daddy."

That's what he hears every day when he watches Sesame Street. Just another example of the power of marketing, even from public television. And, no, Nate has no idea who or what Chuck E. Cheese is.

Love Eric's comment!!
It is a reminder of how much they are absorbing....when Danica was about Nate's age, one day, out of the blue , she said press 1 for U2, press 2 for Bon Jovi. It cracked us up and has been a family joke ever since.

Wow! They really do pay attention to everything they hear. I've often wondered how much of what Avery watches on TV she understands. Interesting.

"Out of the mouths of babes!" Make sure you write all these little gems down - you know how much you and Eric love reading the journals I kept for you two. Nate's Gramma
