Thursday night our church had its' annual BBQ/picnic at Dunsmore Park. Can't believe a year has gone by already -- last July, I was pregnant and somebody gave me a knitting lesson at the picnic. Fast forward a year, and I'm bringing toys, bottles, a stroller, etc. to the park. I felt like a pack mule!
We had some good food, chatted with friends, and Nate got to hang out with his buddies. He did pretty good for staying out 1 1/2 hours past his bedtime. He only got fussy at the very end and was asleep as soon as I started the car.
Here are some photos courtesy of our friend and photographer Paul Hofmann.

Nate's wearing a t-shirt I made for him with the letters LCPC on the front (La Crescenta Presbyterian Church). I was going to sew the letters on but, shoot, when was I going to find time for that? So I glued them on -- I know, I cheated....

Look! The pastor is feeding his baby a bottle. Let's all stand around and "ooh" and "ahh."

Nate's first girlfriend, Ashley. She's our Children's Ministry Director. Nate thinks she's pretty (he told me). But now that she's dating somebody else, he's going to have to find a girlfriend his own age.

Cute! It's hard to believe a whole year has passed by already. So much has changed!
